FEATURE: Online Custom Shirt Reviews

Biased Cut

Shirtmaker: Biased Cut

Shirt Ordered: The Perfect White

Thread Count: 100

Price (including shipping): $85

Fit: The best of the bunch

Pros:
* Price
* Simple measurement entry
* Fast delivery
* Fit was perfect

Cons:
* Limited shirt selection
* Limited customization options

Nota Bene 1: Collar stitching is 1/8", vs. 1/4" on the rest of the shirt. We contacted Biased Cut about this and they chose this option so the stitching would not detract from the collar. If a customer wants consistent 1/4" stitching, they will accommodate.

Nota Bene 2: All Biased Cut shirts have a center-pleated back.

Ideal Customer: Guys who'd like an easy-to-order custom shirt that fits their budget as well as it fits their necks.

Tasting Notes: Biased Cut appears to truly believe that virtual shopping should be simpler than shopping in the real world, even when you're going custom. Thus, they limit their offerings to sixteen core shirts with just a few customization options. No endless scrolling and clicking here — if you like their fabric choices and design aesthetic, you'll know it almost instantly. Of the seven shirts we ordered, this one fit the best, and arrived in just 12 days.

POURCAST

BETA

Sazerac

  • 3 shots rye whiskey (or to taste)
  • 1 sugar cube
  • Peychaud's Bitters
  • quarter shot of Absinthe
  • lemon twist

Soak the sugar cube with the bitters and place in the bottom of a highball glass. Mash with the back of a spoon (or muddler, which we hope has not been used to make a Mojito), add the rye whiskey and fill the glass with ice. Stir for about 30 seconds and then strain into another lowball glass that has been rinsed with Absinthe and filled about halfway with ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.
