Nota Bene: Deo Veritas was the only shirtmaker we reviewed that offered a sewn (vs. fused) collar option. Consider us in the minority, but we strongly endorse non-fused collars, and for a mere $9 upcharge this is a no-brainer.

Ideal Customer: Guys looking for crossover dress/casual shirts for a very good value.

Tasting Notes: We of little faith almost dismissed Deo Veritas strictly on the basis of its website design, which is aesthetically stuck in the '90s. But lo and behold, they made our favorite shirt! Choosing the sewn collar option provides an artfully disheveled dress look, and if you throw it in the wash and let it pucker slightly in the dryer, it can moonlight as a first-rate casual shirt.
