Q: I saw this photo from a cat show on Yahoo News and thought the feline in question looked fantastic. I think a crocheted beanie would really bring out the regal nature of my Cornish Rex too, but my girlfriend says it's mean to dress a neutered animal like a pimp. What do you say?

A: Let's see ... crocheted beanies, testicle removal, cats, and potentially listening to a girlfriend's advice ... you sure you're at the right web site? Anyhow, our cat-lovin' nizzle, forget the pimp comparison and focus on the rap mogul comparison. If crocheted beanies are good enough for a cool cat like Snoop Dogg, they be good enough for your Cornish Rex.

POURCAST

BETA

Sazerac

  • 3 shots rye whiskey (or to taste)
  • 1 sugar cube
  • Peychaud's Bitters
  • quarter shot of Absinthe
  • lemon twist

Soak the sugar cube with the bitters and place in the bottom of a highball glass. Mash with the back of a spoon (or muddler, which we hope has not been used to make a Mojito), add the rye whiskey and fill the glass with ice. Stir for about 30 seconds and then strain into another lowball glass that has been rinsed with Absinthe and filled about halfway with ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.
